Application

Apply your minerals in layers for light, medium, or heavier coverage – it is so much easier to adjust and blend your makeup this way.  You can mix your minerals together to find your perfect shade of foundation or achieve that special effect.  Because of our minerals’ reflective properties,  they naturally enhance many skin tones.  If your minerals appear to settle in your facial lines, you are using too much.  Even without Finishing Touch, your foundation will not result in a shiny look, but will warm into a more natural satin finish.

Depending upon your skin’s sensitivity, special needs, or your personal preference, we recommend you gently pat, brush or buff your minerals onto your skin.  Your foundation can be applied with a soft cotton puff, a soft makeup brush, a dry or dampened sponge, or a foundation brush.  Apply UGlow with a cotton puff, blush brush, or soft makeup brush.  Like to have a liquid foundation – your minerals can be mixed with your favorite serum or moisturizer and applied with your fingertips, a sponge, or foundation brush.  You control how you use your minerals. Remember to keep your brushes clean.

May we suggest:

  • Prior to using your minerals, apply any serums, moisturizers, or sunscreen and make sure they are completely absorbed into your skin.
  • Start with any mineral residue left in the lid or tap a small amount into the lid.
  • Pat, tap, gently brush or buff your minerals onto your skin.
  • Light to medium coverage – use a soft cotton puff or makeup brush and gently layer your minerals.
  • Medium to heavy coverage – layer your minerals to the desired coverage with a cotton puff, makeup brush,  a dry or dampened sponge, or foundation brush.
  • Use UGlow Bronzer/Blush for all over warmth, as a blush, eye shadow, and lip gloss.
  • Concealer, highlighter, and eyeliner – use your minerals in lighter or darker shades.
  • Finishing Touch will add more soothing aloe vera to your skin, set your makeup, and give you a more matte finish, but using it is entirely up to you.
  • Once the minerals have warmed on your skin, you will have a blended natural look.
  • Take a final glance in the mirror, you look great.
