Lu2 mineral foundations come in a range of colors suitable for almost every woman’s needs and preferences. You will find that as our minerals warm on your skin and work with your natural balance of moisture and surface oils, they seem to blend into your own coloring and skin tones. Often, one shade will work for you, but you can use and mix different colors to make your perfect signature shade or craft that perfect look for day, evening, or that special event, you can use your minerals as eyeshadows, eyeliners, eyebrow color, or as a concealer for your own specific needs.

It is very difficult to choose your shade by looking at photos over the internet. Everyone’s computer monitor displays colors differently. So, before we brought Lu2 to you, over 100 women tried our products (without irritation) and this is how they helped us describe our colors:

	L1 is for a fair to light complexion, with warm or yellow undertones. If you are a natural blond or redhead with very fair skin, this could be you. Great concealer or highlighter, too. Foundation L1 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	L2 is for light to medium complexions needing a bit more color, with warm or yellow undertones. This fits you if you have fair skin and tan a little or prefer more color. Also, a great concealer or highlighter. Foundation L2 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	M1 is for a lighter medium skin, with warm or neutral undertones. Works well for “mediums” who do not tan well, or by choice do not tan at all, and have dark blond, brown, or those of you who have brownish- black hair and fairer complexions. Foundation M1 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	M2 is for medium complexions (or light to medium complexions that have a bit more color or use a self-tanner), with warm undertones. Seems to work for a range of hair colors, those who tan easily, or have light olive tones in your skin. Really a true medium that will blend well for you. Foundation M2 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	D1 is for women who are tan or go darker with their self-tanner, with warm undertones. If you are a woman of color with lighter skin tones you may want to consider this shade. Nice for eye shadow, contouring, or eyeliner. Foundation D1 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	D2 is a mid-range or medium dark shade for women of color, with neutral undertones and does not make your skin look ashy. Nice for eye shadow, contouring, or eyeliner. Foundation D2 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50
	D3 is our darkest foundation for women of color and like D2 will not make your skin look ashy or pinkish, with neutral undertones. Nice for eye shadow, contouring, or eyeliner. Foundation D3 (1 x 10g container)    $27.50

*If you are undergoing chemo or radiation or have special coverage needs: you might want to use L1, L2, or a lighter shade as a primer before applying a darker foundation. Then layer your foundation and use Finishing Touch. This will overcome any redness, grayness, or discoloration of your skin.

*D1, D2, and D3 make wonderful eyeliners, eye shadows, or eye contouring shades. They stay on, too, and do not disappear through the day or evening.

*If you have lighter coloring and want to look tan or have more color, D1 is excellent to mix (in very small amounts) with lighter foundations.
